25.11.2011Melbourne Heart recently donated some tickets for local young people to see a game at AAMI park!!
Maroondah Youth Services and Melbourne Heart are working together to create some unique experiences for Maroondah’s young people.
On Saturday 12th November 15 young people from Maroondah were able to go the Melbourne Heat vs. Newcastle Jets game and watch a thrilling game for Melbourne Heart fans for the defeat of Newcastle in a 3-0 win.
“The soccer match was really exciting. My friends and I all enjoyed it very much. I think we were so lucky because we like soccer very much. I can’t believe that Melbourne Heart had 3 goals, that was so wonderful. I like the atmosphere of that match and I think maybe I will support that team hereafter. I was so happy about that. It was the first soccer match that I watched in Australia. The teams were pretty good. If there has soccer matches another time, I will go there with my friends again.” Jasmine M4
Maroondah Youth Services is looking forward to partnership events with Melbourne Heart throughout 2012 as a part of the Teenage Holiday Program.
