Wyreena Community Arts Centre offers a great range of courses for Adults, teenagers, children and people with disabilities. The following are courses for Teenagers.
Margaret Krajnc, a professional artist and children's book illustrator will guide you through techniques to create a wonderful book of your own illustrations. You will learn how to use ink, gouache (poster paint) and colour pencil.
Create your own children’s book either from an existing story (your favourite golden book) or your own story (you need to come to class with your story complete).
Your illustrations will then be bound using an easy binding method to complete your book.
Monday: 17 October - 12 December (8 weeks)
(No class 31 October, Cup weekend)

Specialty paper included in cost.
Learn drawing techniques and then progress to painting. Through various still life set ups and exercises the tutor will teach you how to produce artwork you can be proud of.
Day: Saturday 12 November to 17 December (6 weeks)
Time: 10.00am to 12 noon Tutor: Jenny Hall
Cost: $125.00 plus materials.
Room: Studio 1
Children will learn to make sculptures for the house and garden; learn hand modelling techniques, decorating and glazing. Wheel work
is also available for the children to access.
Day: Saturday 12 November to 17 December (6 weeks)

Cost: $135.00 plus materials. (Includes firing and basic glazes)
