Battle of the Bands applications open

2017 Freeza Push Start Battle of the Bands - Maroondah heat

Bassline Productions with support from Maroondah Youth Services are hosting a heat as part of this years Freeza Push Start Battle of the Bands competition.

We are seeking upcoming local bands or solo artists who want to compete in this year's Battle Of The Bands heat as part of the statewide Push Start competition. Also if you are the winning band for this heat you will be offered a fim recording package where you will get to create your own music video.

Battle of the Bands
EV's Heat 

When: Friday 25th August, 6.30-11pm
Where: EV's Youth Centre, 212 Mt. Dandenong Rd, Croydon

Criteria for entry

  • All members of the act must live, work or study in Victoria.
  • Half of the members must be 21 years of age or under, with no members exceeding 25 years, or under the age of 12, at the time of the first heat event.
  • Any act that has won a heat event and competed in a Regional Final in any previous year is not eligible to re-enter.
  • The act or its members must not have a recording, publishing or distribution deal.
  • At the discretion of the FReeZA worker, the act must live, work, study or recreate in the City or Shire where their heat is held (Maroondah)
  • Entry is free of charge, but participants must cover all costs incurred by travel and accommodation.
