IMPACT

IMPACT is a behavioural change program for young men who find that their anger is causing hassles at home or school. IMPACT offers young men the opportunity to build on their strengths, develop their self worth and to feel better about themselves.

IMPACT involves 8 sessions that inlcude one hour of strength training and fitness circuits, followed by a group discussion on anger and agression. Also included in these sessions is a fun group activity (such as rockclimbing) and a pizza night to hang out with your new mates. Nice one!

The IMPACT program is for young men aged 14 - 17 who live, work or study on the Outer Eastern Region. This program is free of cost and is run in partnership with EACH. Sessions are co-facilitated by a male and female youth worker.

Dates and Times

IMPACT will occur on a Thursday afternoon 4pm - 6pm at the Croydon Leisure Centre. Currently we are taking names of those interested in the program and will advise of application procedures closer to the date. The first program will occur in Term 2, 2010. Dates TBC.
