Maroondah Youth Awards

The Maroondah Youth Awards is a formal recognition evening that celebrates and recognises the commitments and achievements of young people aged between 12-25 in Maroondah. Community members, schools and organisations have nominated young people for recognition in the following award categories;

Arts Award - recognises an individual or group for their creativity, skills and contribution through the visual arts, performing arts, media arts or other. 

Personal Journey Award - an individual who has demonstrated personal growth whilst overcoming challenges in their day to day life. 

Young Leader - recognises and individual or group who have ahosw significant leadership qualities. 

Super Citizen - recognises an individual or group who has given time to their community without hesitation. 

Innovation - recognises the skills and originality of an individual or group. 

 

Nominations are now closed for the 2017 Maroondah Youth Awards. Thank You to all the teachers, youth workers, sports coaches and other professionals who submitted nominations. 

This year, the Maroondah Youth Awards will be held on Thursday 6th April at the Karralyka Centre, Braeside Ave, Ringwood.

For those who have submitted nominations and to the parents/family members of the young people nominated, please refer to your emails for important information that will be sent to you in the lead up to the awards.
