National Youth Week

National Youth Week (NYW) is the largest celebration of young people in Australia. Thousands of young people aged 12-25 all across Australia get involved in NYW each year. NYW 2010 took place from the 10th to the 18th of April and aimed to encourage young people to share ideas, attend live events, have their voices heard on issues of concern to them, showcase their talents, celebrate their contribution to the community, take part in competitions, and have fun!

The theme this year was ‘LIVE IT NOW' and Maroondah City Council's Youth Services Team celebrating NYW with various events and activities for young people throughout the week.

All events were held at EV's Youth Centre and activities were FREE of charge.

Events included....
