Heathmont SC - Year 10 Respect Day!
Recently the year 10's at Heathmont participated in a Respect Day as part of our School Ties program.
The Program was an all day round of activities with Hotpaint in Ringwood, Fresh Youth Theatre in Bayswater, Kate Wilde (awesome speaker!!) and of course us!! We had heaps of fun and lots of good discussions about what Respect is and how we can respect each other more..
Here is what some of the young people said about Respect!
"I learnt I need to have respect for myself and others"
"I didn’t realise how much one person actions can influence so many situations"
"The Respect Day opened my eyes to things I can do to make life easier for me"
