EV's Youth Centre
EV’s Youth Centre is a multi-purpose youth venue from which we deliver a large number of our services, including numerous music and special events along with other targeted youth programs.
The centre is located at 212 Mt. Dandenong Road, Croydon and youth drop-in programs run on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons during the school term - click here to see opening hours. The building is also used throughout the week and during school holidays for other programs.
Originally built in 1909 as a Mechanic's Institue, the building now known affectionately as 'EV's' has been at the centre of local community life for over 100 years. Now fitted out with the latest technology including a high powered PA system, the venue is used by thousands of young people each year as a meeting place, a source of information and education and as an entertainment venue.
